Default live bait

I was thinking about using live bait to catch some bass but never have before. Any tips on bait or rigging?

Use shiners on a light jighead or just a crappie hook.hook em under the head thru the top.fish em under a cork up against the bank and work it out slowly with steady pops of ya rod tip. Good luck

Behind the dorsal fin, so they will swim..if shiners, dont go below the line (you'll see) Shiners work well under a cork with a straight shank crappie hook, 2 split shots, and a cork..Fish creeks, sloughs, wharfs, etc.

Hope that helps...Not much experience with bass fishing with live bait, but When i go to catch white perch on that rig, i catch bass
