Default Last night in Prien

Figured I'd stay a little later yesterday evening. Got on the water around 8pm to pogies and mullet running wild. Caught several undersized trout and a few gaff tops, then the fun started. Bull reds crashing bait everywhere! They were so keyed in on the bait, that it was almost impossible to get them to bite, but I spent the next couple hours chasing them chasing the bait. They would gorge themselves for several minutes at a time and disappear, then come back again for more.

It was dark by the time I actually landed one, and my flash obviously doesn't work inside my soft phone bag.

I did that a few years ago. I had so many small shad jump into my boat that night, I spent 30 minutes the next day cleaning out my boat.

Thanks for report. Been thinking and talking about night fishing in there again. I used to do it all the time. But back then if no one had their lights on or turn them off on u then u could always go down to the plants docks and catch them. Now they run u off quick and can't get close enough to catch em. I'm gonna make a night trip this weekend.
