Hoping to take the wife out to the V-bay area this weekend if that tropical turn up in the gulf doesn?t make it too rough for me to cross the bay. Plan on fishing around Lake Fearman hoping to put the wife on a few Reds.

The bank from the south east point of little white lake to the mouth of the old vermilion is
FULL of reds... and you don’t have to mess with any chop.

Good luck

A little late with the report, but on the 14th we caught about 35 specs @ Tete Butte between 3 people.

I've always been worried to try learning some new spots out that way. I usually just stick to what I know on the west side of the bay with not much luck on reds. I have an 18 foot Kenner. How is navigating little white lake and the little Bay Area. Fearman looks like nothing but sand bars on google earth.

Little white lake gets really skinny on a low tide. Little bay isn?t to bad to get around depending on any tides. I think the sand bars you are talking about in Fearman is the channel that was dug through it a few years about. The lake can get tricky on lower tide but for the most party you can move around it pretty good.

Cool
Thanks for the help
Might just go put put around those areas for fishing for memories see where people are navigating
Try to educate myself a little bit
When I was younger I feel like I knew the bay very well for my age but as I got less and less time to fish I stuck with what I knew and didn't learn much
Now I feel like I don't know much about it anymore lol

If you knew the bay then are not. That’s the thing about the bay. It will humble you more times than not. Good luck.

Default V Bay???

Went this morning trying to beat the rain. Ended up keeping 8 nice red between18?-26?on dead shrimp under a popping cork beating the banks. Could have kept out ten but through the ones right at or above 16? back. Caught them all in and around Lake Fearman. Didn?t take any pictures because of the rain.
