Default Where are the reds?

Read alot of reports this weekend were people caught them.

We have fished many different spots.
And caught several specks and flounder. Only reds i can find are under 16in

I dont want any special spots just wanna know if they are schooling in the lake or in marsh.

We found them scattered, never caught more than one in a spot, most were caught site fishing, and were in the grass, very shallow. We caught most by targeting where we heard them crashing bait.

Saw that once in LNG, but it only lasted about 4 seconds, half a football field erupted, looked like a pot of rice boiling, specks and reds.

We got on some last October in GI that we're feeding like mad men! Calm clear water, baitfish running under our boats and birds working all around us. Had a group of guys with us that had never saltwater fished before so now they're spoiled and think every trip to GI will be like that. They have a rude awakening coming to them. Caught around 40 something bullreds on plastic that, keeping one a person of course. It was a blast for those guys. Chased them for about 2 or 3 hours. Pics. That is cool. I would fish the jetties if i was not in a yak. With the weather and crew boats haulin a it could get dangerous.

In early Sept of '10 the Red's were schooling in Turners bay for about a week during the first couple of hours of the day.

When I was fishing out of bay boat we would catch them schooling in Commisary and out in the middle of the lake. Pure Luck though. Trying to figure out the marsh is a tough task at least for me.

I know of two people that fish the jetties out of yaks. Now both are little on the crazy side.
