I always used to get the ole "man if u ever got any fish you don't want drop em by the house I'll clean em" leave a couple chests full of uncleaned reds on their porch. They'll stop asking.

That's no joke TD. Cleaning a red (especially a bull) is work. People just don't know what they are asking for when they expect cleaned and bagged fish. It's not like we fish because it's cheap and saves $.

I just grin and move on......too many people out there DO appreciate the offers......
years ago I lived between my grandmother and her sister. I was young and fished literally every weekend (note to newlyweds, do not do this).......I would make small quart sized bags for maw maw and Tootsie her sister, my nannie. They kept up a huge garden, so they always dropped of fresh tomatoes and cucumbers in trade....... Mam I loved them women......we played boorais for kitchen matches more than a few nights |

Don't give em another fish ever!! They will learn a lesson. They will figure it out shortly that soon as they stopped being thankful, they stopped getting fish.

Burn up a filet knife and learn to be thankful. Tough love.
