Default Nibblet's Bluff Launch?

I know N.B. Park was severely damaged by the floods, but was wondering if anyone has heard any mention of repair progress or an estimate of how long before fishermen will be allowed to launch there again. Are there any other boat launches nearby other than the Burned Out Bridge?

Burned out is also closed. They are making repairs. Niblett's will likely be closed into late june/July.

If I'm not mistaken, if you're fishing license is LA you can launch in Texas but if you keep some fish and load your boat on the Texas side, you can be fined if you don't also have a Texas license.

I believe you can launch and keep fish but you have to follow Texas creel and size limits.

Yes you can launch on the Texas side with Louisiana License but if you are launching on Texas side you have to follow their 14" min and creel.

As long as you don't run into inland Texas canals or bayous a Louisiana license is good obeying Texas size limits. Just got off the phone with a game warden in orange.

Ah. That makes sense.
Let us know how the water is, and post some fish pics for us. Good luck.

I am almost 100% sure you can Launch at the ramp on simmons drive and keep a LA limit. That ramp is on the main river so it is considered both Texas and LA. The ramp under I 10 is in a cut in Texas you could not do this there. The fishing on the sabine has been terrible anyway so yall are not missing out on anything. The water has been crazy high and not going down anytime soon. If any of yall figure out how to catch them in this high water some advice would be appreciated lol
