If you want, I'll PM you with a few spots to hit around there.

I have heard good things about catching that area. I am worried about what I have heard of people breaking in vehicles while you are fishing. Anyone else have any problems with leaving your vehicle parked.

I've never had a problem but like many launches, it's isolated and ripe for wrongdoings. I try to keep my truck looking pretty boring and uninviting inside.

That's probably the best. Buy an old junker with nothing inside just for certain launches.

Now.......I always put everything behind the seats and out of sight. If they don't see anything, you are probably safe.

This picture was not at the BOB.

Doesn't make for a good fishing trip coming back to the sight of that.

Nah. Some folks are worthless and do worthless deeds to a guy while he's fishing.

A buddy and I are going to the Burnt-Out on Saturday morning. I'm pumped to actually be able to fish some structure after a couple months of marsh fishing.

Yes, my truck.

This happened 3 weeks after Katrina over in the Atchafalaya basin. They stole several things worth about $ 25 total. The truck doors were still locked when I found the damage.

Cost me $100 to buy a new glass and put it in myself. I still sometimes find a small piece of that glass behind the seats.

Be careful the ramp is steep and drops off quick. Ive heard of people already losing trailer axles. All they did was dump some rock that is already getting washed away in the tide.
