BIG TIME WEEK ON LAKE CALCASIEU CATCHING LIMITS OF TROUT

Last week was one on the best this year in terms of catching. Big limits were caught early in the morning before the sun was up. Guide Zach Mitchell reported that yesterday morning he had 23 trout in the boat using Hackberry Hustlers and then the sun came up the bite was over. ?WEIRD? I guess the sun got in their eyes and they couldn?t see the bait. Strange things happen in the world of catching fish that we don?t understand but if we did it would be too easy. The best live bait this past week has been finger mullet fishing under a cork. Most live shrimp fishermen have been fighting banana fish and other trash.
