Default 4/15/15 Trout Beat down!

All this bad weather has really put a damper on our opportunity to chase trout. Capt. Rob and I saw a window in the weather and hopped on the Bluewave for a quick afternoon trip. We found some decent water and Capt. Rob started us off with a hammer. We made a couple hundred yard drift and put 4 trout in the K2. I decided to start chunking a Shrimp Creole under a cork and it was game on. The trout wanted the bait sitting in the strike zone worked fairly slowly. The bite slowed at 28 so we made a move to a reef and Capt. Rob and I couldn't keep the trout off our lines. The trout were smashing my Green Hornet tightlined. We made quick work of our remaining limit before taking it to the house. The good news is the fish are eating up, the bad news is the weather is making it difficult. I have a crew in from Jamaica so I'm hoping the storms let us get out this afternoon. If that happens I'll report how it goes.

Thanks, they are inside and out. Clean water and this weather has been the biggest issue. The last 2 weeks I've been fishing an area protected by a south wind which is one of the few areas holding clean water.
