Yellow is a seldom used color for most Speckled Trout fisherpeople, but it is a good color to catch them.

Years ago, I made a trip with a friend and when we got to our fishing spot I asked what bait should I try. He said to use yellow color soft plastic.

About 4 hours and 4 over flowing ice chest later, I was a believer. We had mostly Specks and a few Reds and sheepheads all caught on yellow baits.
