Dance Handi Rifle 45/70

Just bought a new handi rifle 45/70. What ammo do yall shot in yours. How do you like it. How is the recoil. I haven't shot it yet. I will mount the Bushnell 3 X 9 X 40 on it this evening and hopefully shoot after squirrel hunting in the morning.

Thumbs up 444

Academy on Siegen lane had the 444 for $269.00. I bought the 45/70 at Bowie Outfitters in Baton Rouge for $199.00. I have shot the Buffalo Classic before but not he Handi Rifle. The Buffalo Classic 45/70 had a pretty good punch to it.

Bounce BAR

Shot my 45/70 yesterday. Extremely accurate rifle. Totally amazed that a $200.00 rifle can shoot that accurate. Recoil wasn't bad. Normally takes a while of shooting and confidence before I name one of my guns. Not this one. Named it the BAR (Bad AZZ Rifle)

I own the 3 of them. Hornady Leverevolution ammo. Can shoot a very tight group (clover leaf) at 100yds out of Lead Sled. Tried the remington wasn't near as a tight group as the hornady's.

I shoot the Leverrevolution 325 gr. That's what most people shoot that I talked to. Hope you get one soon.
