Default Concealed Carry Weapon

I have been considering getting a smaller gun to conceal carry.

Anyone have a Bursa Thunder 380....and if you do, how do you like it. It seems to have good reviews. I normally try to buy something made in the USA but for a CCW for under $300, I think it's a good buy.

I've never shot one but when I worked at academy(about 6 years ago) that was probably one of the most popular guns I sold. I've never heard one bad thing about it and heard a ton of good things

Thanks for the comment. Like I said, all the reviews are good. They say if you shoot +P ammo it decreases the life of the gun. But I'm not looking to burn a bunch of rounds at the range with it. I have other guns for that.

I think I'm going to purchase one.

Yes....I have one lol.

Just wanted a cheap one to take the abuse of everyday carry.

My Kimber is so nice I almost hate to shoot it lol....I have about a dozen handguns. Just want something different now.....you know how that goes. Plus the small size will slide in my front pocket.

Check out Ruger's LC9 and SR9c. Both shoot 9mm, I have both and while the SR9c shoots better for what I like the LC9 is easier to carry in warmer lighter clothing.

The only gun I never leave home with out is the baby Glock in 45 caliber. I carry that for a couple of reasons. It is very compact and very very light weight with a full clip. It is also a caliber that is proven time and time again one shot stopping power hands down. They don't call the round the flying ashtray for nothing. Just food for thought hope it helps.

Gotcha.... I was also thinking this was a gun the wife could throw in her purse also, that has a safety.

I bought a Bursa 380 with wood grips at a gun show for $180 about 21-22 years ago and I purchased a H & k 9mm 5 years ago. I rarly shoot, but still enjoy shooting the Bersa when I do go to the range. It's a fine gun.

I've had the Bersa for over 3 years now and I carry it everywhere I go. It's not the most high end gun on the market, but it is an amazing gun for the price. I have an inside the pants holster and it feels great while carrying. I even forget I have it sometimes. It's very accurate and I've never had a FTF or FTE.

My Daughter won a 380 Sig Sauer at one of the events she attended. I have run a few rounds through it, but for me Glock 27 in the pocket, with a one piece, yep you guessed it one in the pipe, you wait'n for me .... first thing hitting the ground is probably gonna be somewhere around your shoulder blades!

those keltec aren't that reliable, the bersa is better, I had the cc model bersa .380, they made the sights snagless but there barely there. the regular model would of suited me better. I sold it a couple years ago and put the money toward a springfield xd, I have a Kahr cw40, which shoots and feels good and is lite.
