Specknation, poor guy takes this internet stuff to seriously. Lmao. Cgoods did state that bluewater fishing would have a fight in this battle, so pretty sure he is not disrespecting fishing altogether.

That is true.
Is it hard to be as awesome as you are ? I'm just asking cuz I have hopes of being able to bounce a hen like you one day. I'm so far off sometimes I don't even want to try. I just keep saying " if B-Rad can bounce the hen darn it so can I "

I just started focusing on specks at the end of last years duck season. Let me tell you it's one thing to get a flock of mallards in but it's a whole not her felling getting a group of specks down with the landing gear out ten feet from the blind. From my little experience with specks, they are not near as forgiving on the call as ducks are. I'll admit it, I get way more of a rush seeing those suckers flip to get into a spread then I do with ducks. I've hunted ducks for a long time and those specks are a total different ball game. One thing out of place, one movement, one missed cluck and they gone.

If you miss a note, dont stop and make it noticable... just keep calling and act like it never happened... these birds make a lot of different noises a call cant make so dont try and sound perfect... besides, what does a perfect speck sound like?

that is my .02
