Default First trip of the summer

My son and I headed down to Dularge yesterday afternoon, which was supposed to be an early morning trip. Woke up at 2 am and discovered there was a tropical wave sitting on top of the fishing grounds. We were greeted with 20+mph winds when we arrived yesterday afternoon,so we decided to stay on the inside. Figured we wouldnt do much, but just had to run the boat a little and get on the water. Picked up a few ****** trout, and called it a day. Winds were light this morning,so we headed out early. Got to our first stop in the gulf, and started pecking away at em. We definately werent burning and "hocking" them, but it was steady for a lil while, then the tide switched, and the bite went dead. Ended up going further out,and picked up a few more to finish our trip off. Definately had to trick em into biting today, where we were. All in all had a great time, and made some great memories with my son.
