For skinning deer it's hard to beat a buck knife IMO

I use buck, kershaw, cold steel, rapala, case, ka bar, in varying configurations for cleaning duties fron fin to fur. I love having a razor sharp knife but hate to sharpen mid project. If one looses its edge a bit I set it down and grab another. Everything is resharpened after a good washing.

Visco that classic Buck knife is a hard one to beat for sure. Those are great knives and tough as hell. Good looking collection of your other cleaning knives and stones also. I love a good diamond stone. I'll post pics of mine when I get home. I'm a knife whore.lol

I have 3 different ones and they are worth it. Very nice and heavy and sharp.

Bottom right corner is probably my favorite knive. The one with the deer track cur out of the blade. It's a Buck limited series. My wife bought it for me 15 years ago or so and it is my favorite. Squirrels, rabbits, hogs, deer and bull reds. That knife has seen it all if it was dead.
