Default Anyone hunting this week?

I got lucky and was able to take off with the kids this week. We have hunted 3 days in a row so far, only saw 1 deer though...haha. Anyone else enjoying thanksgiving week off work and hunting?

Have a long weekend but not sure how much hunting I will be able to do. No luck so far. Saw one deer(no shot) and 6 turkeys. Thought about sitting in my stand with my 22 but then the squirrels would not show up lol

I only bow hunt deer. And I am not going to tell you how many arrows I've lost in frustration/boredom at squirrels! I'll wack a turkey in a heart beat though!

I thought about trying to whack a squirrel with my recurve. Yeah it would be a waste of time and arrows but thumping one with my recurve would be fun.

Oh it's real fun to hit one. But my hunting arrows are about 30$ a piece.

That is always my temptation when I have my bow. I would like to try and shoot a turkey with my bow, that would take some skill.

May have to screw those old G5's onto a few practice arrows. Those G5 small game heads look wicked but damn they are 10 bucks a piece. Bout the same as the broadhead.
