Also of note is how much real conservation, research, and restoration funds are spent by CCA in Texas, while all LA gets are a few artificial reefs, license increases, and ever-increasing regulations. See:

We are so screwed man I mean it's just so unfair. Shame shame shame.

Is there no oversight ?

Put a few old ladies in there 70's to oversee this playground farce.

I feel like they took my lunch money and the whole school anmin knows about it.

Might do a school board meeting about it and have security there so board members don't touch each other and get fish slime on new suits.

Bunch of children dictating rules laws that cost me too much just to go fishing.

So you mean Texas can build a reef and it only cost 200k but La CCA builds one with 100% material donated and it cost over half million?

I would support Texas CCa

I received two phone calls already about why I bad mouth the CCA

After I hung up with both individuals they both agreed that CCA is not doing enough

One was a big Sunshine CCA pumper, and when I asked him to name one thing the CCA has done to help improve our Lake in last 10-15 years

His exact words were

We put in two reefs

I said no, that has not improved nothing the Turners reef is washing away at record pace and the brad Vincent Reef was nothing more than political "look at me" deal that cost half million and was donated materials

I ask again name one thing the CCA has done to improve our Lake in last 10-15 years..just name one

He was lost for words and started spating stupid stuff about other places like grass planting.

Sooo again I said Name me one thing the CCA has done on Big Lake to improve or help our Lake in last 10-15 years

His last words were I guess nothing, but we have lots of plans

He deleted off Facebook now I'm traumatized

Cca tx just recommended and successfully pushed through 5 trout per day limit from Freeport to Brownsville. Would you support that?

Just got off the phone with yet another person calling about concerns

But he is different and knows a lot of the behind scene of CCA

He said it perfect

CCA/politics - Politics/CCA you have to dance with the one who bought you!

He said how come every person on the CCA state board makes over $170k plus a year?
How come regular down to earth guys who spend countless hours on the waters and bays are not making decisions for the CCA, but the suit and tie guys who have ZERO knowledge of any area are?

He left the CCA for that reason alone and because it's all about what the $$$$ can buy for you

You must be really special, because when I do get a return call, it usually goes something like.......

ME: Give one thing your group has done in support of your very own mission statement....

CCA: "Well, uh well, uh, uh well, we did ban the gill nets"......

ME: "No it did not, GCCA did that!"

Dial tone.

Slickhead, you have taken on the traits of a real CCA starch shirt, goofy shoes, tight shorts wearing member.......You cannot argue true facts, so you attack the person.

Short and shirt regs couldn't bother me less, but I would like to see a push from CCA to ban the use of Crocks.
