I run with a SS prop..........and keep the origional Alum prop as a spare. I also keep a 15/16 wrench in the boat to change it.

My neighbor showed me his spare "bushing" that is very easy to change on his prop.....he can change it on the water if needed.

Did that on Toledo once. Just finished driving 2 hrs str8 to the ramp at 6 mile and got half way around first buoy and capoooey! What do ya know...spunt hub....idle only. Closest prop shop for my yammy was a round trip 2.5 hr ride across pendleton bridge and down towards pirates. Worst part ....had 2 other props sitting in my garage. Never happened again.

Sucked up some yahoo's stringer they lost and it got wrapped and wedged between prop and housing wedged in so tight it cracked the housinG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
