Cheers Incredible Trout Bite Continues 6-25-15

Ross Dies, Randy Elder, and Jolly Claxton from Shreveport joined me today on the Big Bluewave. We had the trout jumping into the boat every cast again this morning 4-8 at a time. Double rigged Matrix Shad gets the job done every day, don't waste your time and money on live bait!! The trout have been eating the Matrix up like there is no tomorrow (and there is no tomorrow for the 100 we caught!!! LOL). Easy as it gets again today, as the bite has been off the charts. The guys had a blast reeling in trout 14-21 inches. Took us a little longer today as a storm kicked up and slowed the bite down for a while. Once things calmed back down, the bite was back on. We were back cleaning fish at 10:00. The cloud cover and drizzle actually felt good!!! Thanks guys and I look forward to your return.

If I had a boat I would go to Cocodrie or Dulac/Dularge right now. I can't even find a boat for hire...

I don't fish the area, but I think the fish have already quit in the lake. It's only a few weeks that they run in the lake each year.
