Pulled enough long beans and a few eggplant to go with the BBQ for supper...Looks like the hotter it is the better they grow.

What kind of beans are those? Is it one of those Asian green beans?

Orient wonder . I got them from Park Seed online. When my tomato's finished I pulled the plants and put 4 seeds around the poles. They about the size of a pencil. I cooked them down with some home made smoke sausage and they're great.

So they produce in the heat and don't drop blossoms like other green beans. I will have to plant them when my beans quit producing next year. Man I almost had my garden prepped for fall today but I got rained out.

Thats hard to believe that is only 4 plants. Thanks for sharing. I put that in my notebook to plant next year.

4 seeds per pole . I planted 6 poles . Got the idea thanks to Cappy when he posted long beans last summer . I had a different variety last summer did ok but not as good as these. The best thing is you can plant when everything else is winding down and have something coming out the garden in the heat of summer.
