Default The Burns 5/31/2017

Fished 4:30-8:30pm with a buddy. We tried the spots I had caught fish three days ago with limited results. Found another area that looked good. Ended up catching 19 bass, and kept 17 plus a goggleye and a crappie.
The recent rains have made it much easier to get around out there.

Nice catch. One of you guy's need to take me fishing there. My Triton won't go.

There's 40, 60hp motors out there. Very large surface-drive motors, too. Your Triton wouldn't be entirely out of place. I've never ever seen anybody patrolling it.

Yeah. Something got ahold of that fish. The meat was fine. Deep skin wounds were all they were.

I've been fishing the front for the last 3 weeks, has the Superior and the 45 started to clear up yet? How bad is the hyacinth in the Superior?

Water looked perfect everywhere last week. The hyacinth is worst in the main canals. It seems to depend on which way the wind is blowing.

I hear they patrol it early and kind of quit after a few weeks.
