Default Huge Broomtail Grouper and lots of Marlin - Quepos Report

We got to get this fishing forum moving again guys! I'll post a report to keep the forum active!

Inshore fishing has been crazy good here with lots of big school of sardines running up and down the coast pulling all the fish out of their caves and rivers. Check out this huge BroomTail Grouper from last week:

In addition to the gruoper, there have been lots of snook around lately too inshore:

And of course there are always roosterfish around

Offshore has finally started picking up again for the season. The offshore was a bit slower after the hurricane in November, but finally yesterday we started seeing good fish again. Yesterday Junior released a pair of nice Marlin, 6 dorado and 2 yellow fin tuna.

I think all the offshore pictures were taken from one of the two boats we just finished this year. The 28 footer is doing great now, it was a little slow at first from a tunnel issue, but we nixed the prop tunnel and now it runs well. The 32 footer has been doing great lately out there, yesterday they were the ones that had the double Marlin, 6 dorado and 2 yellow fin day. Really happy with how they both turned out, I'm thinking I might go for another one here in may but I'm still resting now...
