I stuff pork chops and chicken with cheese and pineapple all the time, but never thought of stuffing a pineapple with pork

Well that sucks. I've been seeing that jalape?o bacon at rouses, is it any good?

Dang. A lot of time wasted. What exactly disappointed you about it? It looks like it could be a really good dish.

I should have grilled and/or seared the pork before.
Bacon was hot but heals a bunch of fluid so it didn't cook the way I wanted. I had to improvise because the bacon pretty much fell to pieces. Pineapple was pretty dried out too, I did have a bath underneath it, so it had me a little confused. I think it was a combination of things, bad prep, not right pineapple and first time using that type bacon. Just my thoughts. Don't get me wrong, it was eatable, just could have been better. RC |
