Default Shrimp

I bought shrimp at Hebert's Saturday morning. If you want live shrimp on a weekend, you should definitely get up before dawn and be there early, no matter where you buy them.

Just an FYI there were no shrimp at all yesterday morning at spicers early. I was there around 5 and I talked to a guide friend that was there earlier. They had a bunch sat afternoon and sold them all apparently.

Default Live Shrimp

There must be lots of places to cast net for shrimp. Anyone care to share some spots?

I was fortunate to get shrimp at spicers early Sunday morning. And it's not anyone's fault at getting bait. It's more nature's. How is the bait boat man going to make a living if he has to drag all over ship channel all nite to get some. Bait prices would go way up through the roof.

I caught pogies and mullet in the channel, but the trout bit the pogies much better. Seemed as well as shrimp to me
