he told me last night that he will not be able to attend, but i have to say he has some amazing rods that he's working on and some that he's finished. Everyone in the lake charles area needs to swing by and take a look. Trying to talk the wife into one as we speak

thats him, i would call him first to make sure he's home, he has a sign infront of his yard, Cajun Reel Service I believe it says, you can't miss it

He lives across from the school in Bell City.
He is retired, but not always home.
I called first. His wife took the reels, I gave him my phone number, email address, what I wanted done to each reel and what day I was passing back thru to pick them up.
He don't take checks or credit cards.

Dropped my reel off this afternoon and he started taking it apart as soon as he had it in his hands. I stayed for a few minutes chatting with him, real nice fella. He will definately get my business again.

I agree, very nice to deal with, he gets every reel that I have problems with. He called me today to tell me that my reel was ready at noon. By the way I brought it to him at 8pm yesterday. Nothing but good reviews on my side thats for sure.

he called me this afternoon also. Shawn, If you make it over let me know. I will go by there Friday if you or I can't get there before. He will come over, probably Saturday for a while.

did he say what your reel needed? mine had some bearings bad and apparently the last time I took it apart I forgot to put another bearing back in, the bad thing is I fished that reel for a month after putting it back together
