Default AmeraCat boats

Does anyone have or know anyone that has an AmeriCat... My buddys dad is looking at a 27' with twin 150 Mercs and he likes it a lot... Just wanted to get y'alls opinions of these boats..

I been in one in some pretty rough stuff. It was a 31 Ithink. Has alot of "roll" to it but it is a cat. we stayed pretty dry as I remember

I got soaked in that thing! Its as bad as my Cape Horn! And keeping a straight line seemed impossible. I like the lines and the fact that its a no frills fishing boat.

Customer of mine just got a 31 custom built with twin 350's ...they love it . To me the inside finish with the splatter paint is kinda cheap looking when you spend over 300k on a boat...

Two years ago, a 33 rigged with twin 250s was $99,000

Yeah I was wrong , I spoke with him yesterday. The way they had it rigged was 200k
