Default Youth Hunts

On SAT my son had two of his buds come with him to my lease South of Kaplan and they shot 18. We were covered with BW teal. They shot a lot to say the least.....LOL

18 total
4 spoons
12 teal
1 grey
1 wigeon

SUN hunt.....

Only my son hunted and he was done by like 7:15.

Still a lot of ducks but not as may as yesterday and he shot less than a box and none were killed on the water...lol

Good job gettin the young ones out. I brought my stepdaughter and nephew Saturday. They got to shoot AT some recouping birds. Both got soakin wet and had a blast.

His two buds on SAT are twins and they have only ducked hunted 2-3 times on a wood duck hunt. They never really hunted over decoys and such. They had a blast.

That's awesome. Went to my lease early Sat morning to do some work and there was teal everywhere. Saw a pretty good bit of big ducks too.

My father in law went with his bud to his lease in PI last week (south side) and he saw a lot of ducks.

On Sun, I saw a lot more GW vs BW. On SAT, we had more BW out there than I can remember.

We brought three youths and they only shot two gwt. They had fun though, and thats what its really about! We don't have the ducks yet. Went back Sunday to brush more blinds, let's just say I sure hope things change before Saturday or we might struggle a little.

Saturday 4 ducks, 2 teal, 1 Mottle and 1 Gray between my boys and Sunday 1 Coot. Not many birds down in my area yet.
