Default grand slam mono review

Thought id share my experience with the grand slam mono.

Well I normally use trilene xl on my ultra lights. Well I always watch bill dance and decided to get me a spool and try it out. I got the 8lb and put it on a #2000 size spinning reel on a 7ft medium action rod specifically for bream and crappie. While its strong it lacks casting distance of the xl. To me the trilene xl is far superior in every aspect of it. I may have got a bad batch but I will be going back to trilene xl very soon. Hope this helps some of yall from wasting money

Hard to retire when u catch 8 pounders every other cast in a Ray Scott built and stocked pond. I'm not hating though. That old goober taught me a lot when I was a kid. Bill is what I watched when other kids watched cartoons.

Have you personally used it? I saw it on tackle warehouse they claim the 20lb is the size of 12lb test. I would like to try it if it's that small...
