Default V bay Fearman lake question

How shallow is the lake. As far as trolling around. How far pass the white poles can you troll.

Also has anyone ever traveled in that bayou that's on the east side of lake fearman? Thst bayou goes from the lake to the intercoastal water way? I see a camp along that bayou as well.

I know that you have to stay close to the white poles when passing through the lake. Just wondering if anyone ventured pass the white poles and where you in a bay boat.

I used to catch Reds in there and I wouldn't run them poles with the tide out! That whole area is very shallow! Hell I couldn't get my tunnel hull on step in there when the tide fell! The canals on the east side are deep!

It's pretty silted up in that little cut going to the weir. Maybe at high tide is ok. But every time I've tried i couldn't get to it.

On a normal tide.. U have about 32"-36" of water... I've run the lake on a high tide with my triton.. Coming from Cutoff.. stay just to the LEFT of the posts... Just pass Tom Bayou stay to right of post into canal by south lake..

In a smaller boat.. I've fished the banks alot..But I've fished it for over 35 yrs..
