Default 6-6-18 slower Crappie bite

Tried all the holes I been catching white perch on and never got a fish!!! But there is this one hole I tried 4/5 times this year and never got a bite on but that hole produced a dozen for me today. Lost a lot wrapped up in branches and even broke a rod trying to pull one out. Slow bite but at least they were biting there today as it saved the day.

I have seen that injury on many Crappie I've caught. Now I know fishing line causes it when they get wrapped around branches and have to pull em out. I caused this one but for some reason I lost a lot of em on this trip
