Default New Livewell

Put this bad boy together this week. I'll be trying it out with some shrimp or porgies Friday.

It's a cut down 20-gallon with a 5-gallon inside and insulated with spray foam. It has two aerators, 3 rod holders, and a self-priming wash-down pump.

Live well worked good friday. Kept all but 11 of 100 shrimp alive 'till 12:38pm when the heat was too much for the slow bite in the rigolets. No salt water anywhere and the SSW wind at 8 knots was too much for the flat on the north side of the lake.

Didn't get a chance to hit the rigs. My buddies boat is a 16' aluminum flat that couldn't handle the South wind in Borgne. I was out that way for a wedding I was in. I usually fish BL or make the trek to Point-a-la-hache.
