Nope it has gotten worse since last week. I was out yesterday afternoon in the hurricane force winds and the lake literally looked like chocolate milk. The channel is still very clear from just north of turners all the way up to the saltwater barrier, and its decent once you get south of the entrance to turners, muddies up around 9 mile again. Didn't bother going any further south because of the swells in the ship channel. The winds are going to need to lay down and we are going to need a few good tides to make the lake decent again. No rain also helps but we could definitely use it right now.

No doubt. There was some cleaner water at LNG friday though. Caught a few flounder and about a thousand ribbon. Decided to get away from the ol ribbons and ended up headin to turners and fished north end hunkered a little into the marsh and caught some more flounder. Didn't have any luck with the trout or redfish though. Sat night we headed down near spicers and caught a few nice trout under some lts. I can't wait till I can get some decent weather again. Im fishin out of a 15' alweld, and headin down that ship channel sat night was unnerving to say the least.
