Default Freshwater City Friday

For the guys going out of Freshwater City here are the forcasts for the weekend. Cabwiz, are you still a go for Friday morning? For the others, Bob, Austin, and Jason, We could fish inland and the mouth for a while, then when and if it calms down we will go out. It can be better or worst than the predictions, only time will tell. We will only go out if ALL AGREE. It is also a full moon night, or near it. We could go out and do an afternoon trip and partial night trip. We can always blam this on Ray, he is back home this week.lolCabwiz, what channel on the vhf do you usually monitor? For the Saturday guys, It's a go, Looks like we should be able to continue without change of plans. Sat at the Holly beach side of the Cameron Ferry. Austin, Longside and Austins Brother.

It may be a close call Yak, It really depends on the actual sea conditions. We have both seen and know, the prediction are what they are.... a Prediction. It could be like glass and it could be the the lumps Feb 27,2010.

I am a no go for Friday. I think the seas are to high. There really aren't any rigs to fish in state waters and I think with the wave action they have now that the area will be muddy.

The seas are predicted to be favorable for Saturday. Plans for Saturday are to leave around 6:00 am. With snapper closed, I plan to go out just past the closed zone. Hook to some structure and look for trout and pompano. Depending on sea conditions and clearity we may go farther out and look for cobia, triple tail or whatever. Jason I'll give you a call. We may go out of Cameron tomorrow afternoon for a few hours. I also need to call Bob and see what he wants to do. Friday at Freshwater is canceled.

I know someone went out to SMI 27 last week and caught 8 limits of Snapper before noon.

It's looking a little rough (5-6 ft) for Friday morning Ray, the predictions says around noon it may lay down thru Sun. I'm going to try Friday afternoon and see how the seas are. I really like having a buddy boat if I'm going out over 35 miles. I may just go out around the end of the ship channel (26 miles) and peel over to some structure. With my drive of about 150 miles to the shore, it's hard not to launch the boat once I get there.
