Default VB 8/4

went out and got a late start...

winds lite and variable out of the nw,
tidal movt out of east
water mildly salty
clarity about a 3.5/7...
bait used,
live shrimp under a Cajun thunder rattle cork,
tandem rigs with chart, red dot cocohow minows/split tails,
fresh market shrimp....

result

24 trout(12-15inch)
4 Spanish mackerel
1 sheephead
5 sand trout
4 shark hook ups, cut the line everytime
a bunch of dink trout also

tight ones

What I can gather from other posts, all are being caught inside.

Sw pass reefs.....didn't even have to go to the reefs in the gulf.... have to admit if I was a rookie I wouldn't have caught because if you know trout, they may bite in one spot and 5 ft to the left or right they won't touch it...i found this to be in 2 seperate spots and you have to keep changing colors until they hit cause you'll swear there are no fish until you give them the color they want...also in some areas, if you don't have live shrimp, you can forget it.....I just got back into the scene, most of my reports are on rod n reel..I got stuff dating back 12 yrs on there
