Default V-Bay 7/12-7/13

Finally made it out to the Bay after some vacation and Regional Soccer for the young man in this pic, They represented Louisiana well in Decatur Alabama.
We started a bit late on Sat and we paid dearly for that, it was hot and we finally gave up around 2:30 and went for a swim, just out side the swim beach. We worked hard for the reds, could not get on pattern, so we went out to Tiger Shoals, could not find the trout.
Sunday different story, started early, no fish, decided to try new spot and second cast it was on, however our time to leave was fast approaching. Fish only wanted stuff under popping cork, and only one on swim bait. Spotted several reds, they would not touch spoon or rattle trap (surprising). We headed in and back at the house before noon, with one happy kid, and jsut a few shy of limit to watch some soccer and help dad clean up boat.
Love it when the kiddo presses dad to take him fishing, PRICELESS!
