Cheers More Trout 7-31-14

Billy Gray and his family jumped onboard the big Bluewave with me. We departed the Reel Inn in the dark headed South for trout! We were greeted with perfect conditions weather wise, but very little tide movement. Arriving on location I thought we would murder the fish like yesterday.....not!! It was pick pick pick pick. With just six fish iced down in the K2 at 7:30 I had to make a move. Stick and move just picking away on the fish. We never got on a decent bite till our last stop!! It was like someone had finally turned the trout bite switch on. All of our fish today were caught on double rigged avocado Matrix and Purple Haze Vortex shad. Super slow retrieve with a twitch. Thanks guys, I enjoyed fishing with you.

Big thanks to Capt R Dupont for running the second boat today.
