Cheers Battling Bronze Backs

John Dongieux had such a good time last month fishing with me, that he was back today. His son Brennan joined us also. Our first stop found a slow incoming tide, then it went slack for hours. With only one fish in the K2 it was past time to move. Our next stop found a couple more fish but slow. Capt Rob was on a hot bite and called me over. Upon pulling up The Chick-Fil-A crew with Capt Rob were smashing the reds. We squeezed in and slowly got in on the action. As the tide started to fall the bite even got better. My crew were reeling in fish every cast. Some bigger reds 27-28 inches moved in and it was hard to put any keepers in the K2. We weeded through the bigger fish and added some puppy drum to the mix. The guys threw in the towel with their arms burning and the K2 full to the top. Another great trip to add to the books with John.

Big thanks to Capt Rob and Capt Travis for running the other two boats with Chick-Fil-A
