I am on my first Yamaha. I like it, except for when it is real cold and then you go from forward to reverse, it dies out, only when you really need to be in reverse. Otherwise, it stays running.
I had a 40 Merc tiller drive and a 200 Offshore Merc. They last forever and they run forever. Easy start. Hurricane Rita took the 40 HP and damaged the boat that the 200 HP was on.
But them were the old carbed models.
