Jist picked up a lews speed spin. I noticed it came with a spool just for braid. My concern is is it not holding enough line. Did anybody else use theirs? I plan on using it with 10lb braid which is pretty thin but just knowing i have a whole spool of powerpro makes me feel good. This spool looks like ill only be able to get about half a roll of ppwerpro on it.

I usually just put a piece of electrical tspe on my spool then just do all 150 yards of braid. I just dont like the thought of having 1/2 a spool of line even if it is braid

IMHO the braid spool they come with is to small. I bought two of them as customer reels and have had problems with line twist. And on the small braid spoil if you have a problem at the end of the cast you don't have much left to work with.

Have you tried braid on the regular spool?
