Made a huge decision today

After a few hours of debate....











I decided on wrapping the doves from yesterday up in bacon and cooking them tonight rather than making a big pot of dove and gravy. The decision was made when my grandfather said why smother something that good in gravy? The point was taken, and the gravy will wait for the tough squirrels in a few weeks

Nice. Almost anything is good wrapped in bacon. We fried up some back strap, trout, and shrimp over here last night. It's so good to be Cajun!!!!!!!!

Chicken & Sausage gumbo last night....a big ole pot of shrimp, crab & corn soup on the stove for tonight! Was hoping to have dove but our trip got jacked by the storm. Grrrrr
