1 thing I didnt see you guys mention.... my buddy has the wireless on his Blazer Bay. When he has to launch his boat by himself it helps when tieing up to the dock. He noses up to the dock, hits the remote for the power pole then gets out the boat and ties it to the dock and it stays a foot or so off the dock.

Here is a cost effective way to get similar results as a power pole. It's what I call a manual power pole. Just slide the anchor pin through the eyelet of the short rope, or the mounted bracket and push into the water bottom. No need to throw it in the mud like a heavy cajun anchor. Check out the website below. I think they have videos also...this is what i use...

how about the dig in anchors??? been looking at those, you can get a 10' pole with mount and brackets for about $275. anyone know anything about those?

hey guys i was up at at toledo bend and i threw every bait in my plano 771 tackle box and i just can't seem to catch any reds or specs..does anyone know what i can use in toledo bend to catch some reds and a few flounder. ive been fishing pirates cove in toledo for about 3 months and ive yet to catch a red.

I have a power pole on my boat now and love it. Ill never own a boat without one and if i can afford it, my next boat will have two 10 footers!!!

Getting a white one for the bass boat. I'm pumped. It's only a 6ft but I can't pass up the deal. If I choose to add the remotes later, can I? It doesn't come with them...
