Are you comparing this flood to Hurricane Katrina?

Why even turn it into a political argument. Isn't there enough of that already.
Concentrate on helping the people of this state right now. We can start pissing on each other's legs in a few weeks about politics and the flood but now isn't the time. |

Everyone here knows I'm fast to go on attack if it's a gun/politics issue. This isn't it and that kind of talk needs to wait. Mother Nature just unleashed hell. No political issue. Just our people hurting and loosing their livelyhood.
PS. I do understand his point. If the rats in NO were drowing Obama would be there with a dipnet. |

Although my hearts go out to everyone affected by this flood( ive been in many floods through the years living in new orleans) is asinine to compare this to Katrina and its after effects.

This flood is nothing like katrina. Nope this flood covered way more land and houses The folks in this flood didn't tear up their city and loot everything available . this flood The affected people didn't bi tch and moan because they didn't evacuate. they pulled up their big boy pants and helped each other get out. This Flood Myself and many many others wont get fema help to rebuild because of the folks in Katrina that got plenty money to rebuild / lift their homes and spent the money somewhere else.
