Default Plastics Color?

What's your favorite color this time of year for plastics on Big Lake?

Depends on what the water looks like... But glow n chartreuse always seems to do pretty good for me in the summer everywhere

Green Hornet matrix shad has been working for me. Dark colors in dirty water. Light colors in clean water.

That green hornet is dynamite in clear water. So is pink and opening night.

Greener the water clearer the bait

Darker or off color darker the bait

Cloudy clear water days I use chicken on a chain or pink
Sun shine clear water I use clear salt n pepper or glow
Cloudy off water chartreuse or black and chart
Sunny off water Avacodo or black chart

Keep it simple and catch fish

Only colors I throw:
Opening night
Pearl/ truce
Pink/pearl /truce ( Texas chicken)
Black / truce
Purple / truce
Of which tge majority of the time it's either opening night or pearl/ truce regardless of water clarity

Only plastics I throw
- deadly Dudley's
- spade/ curly tail grubs
- spook jrs
- corky devils
