Default Favorite BL muddy water bait.

Well since it doesn't seem like the muddy water is going to clear up any why not start a post on muddy water baits and help out the local academy by moving some product.

From experience what seems to be everyones goto bait for these muddy water conditions.

For me I've always had good luck throwing a chartreuse gulp swimming mullet on a 1/8" jighead. Obviously fish like different baits different days but it seems to work. Lately they have liked the ever simple chartreuse liljohn(margarita) under a cork as well.

Seems at least on BL and at least for me anything chartreuse is key and especially with the BooBoo brown water.

What say you guys?

Black/chat or purple/chart usual suspects or wedgetails. Have caught more hogs this spring on 3" swimbaits than thought possible. Vortex spartucs and purple haze have been good for reds but for whatever reason those big trout are loving the 3" swimbaits right now.

Ya I love to put the wifey on the usual suspect in that black/chart or the iridescent one. Just let her chunk and retrieve.
