Fished Friday afternoon for a couple of hours until the wind picked up... caught a few reds but no trout to speak of... stayed mostly around 210 areas and did not go up past L'auberge

When I was there Friday there was a lot of bait (both shad and mullet)... Water visibility was variable from about 8" down to probably 15" in some spots... Not much tide was moving and once the wind picked up (around 5:00pm) I wasn't able to drift or troll consistently in my little boat so I packed it in.

I've been out there a couple times recently in a yak and there was bait all over and nothing but schools of gaftop it seemed.

Default Prien 7/16

I went out there yesterday evening after I got rained out of BL in the am. There were birds all over the place north of the 210 bridge, but it was mostly lady fish. I moved away from the birds to the bank opposite the bridge (where they are doing construction), and I caught a ton of trout casting into moving schools of bait (shad). The only problem is that almost ALL of them were 11.5". It was crazy. I caught a few keepers, but is was mostly catch and release dinks.

Same thing for me. Went out to prien in my yak and caught a bunch of ladyfish, flounder and trout, but most of the trout were 10-11in
