Default Martin Beach, holley beach area

Anyone been through there lately, looking to go to martin beach to let the wife ride the 4 wheeler while I surf fish for some reds or sharks. Any reports or am i wasting my time fishing? Going saturday after lunch

my uncle went last weekend and caught a few reds. i think he is headin down there this weekend again with the same thing in mind as u. throw gulp 3" shrimp on jig head. u should catch some reds.

i planned on bringing a kayak and trying to get a ways off of bank with my surf rods with mullet for the big boys but with 15mph winds gulf may be a little rough for the kayak
