Just got back from Cyp Point. No fishing but Had to drop something at the camp. It was howling...white caps everywhere in the bay. Talked to my neighbor who tried to go out this morning but turned around. And he’s in a 32’ Hull. Its been like this all month.

Went yesterday and hit a rough chop right out of Quintana at sunrise. Made it to east Marsh Island and caught 8 reds. Wind was killing my trolling motor so we had to anchor or tie off. Took me an hour to get back around 1:00. The forecast for SW at 8 to 12 turned out to be straight W maybe WNW at about 20 if not more. My wife was not impressed. I was in a 22 ft Xpress.

Headknocker darn winds lol

thanks guys ,it is what I thought, too windy, rough, made a couple trips at beginning of the month and did okay but being off during summer time from work I'm ready to fish twice a week and my mind keeps getting confident but I'm glad to hear what I was concerned about in order so I don't waste money and time to get on the trout....I have an 18ft bay....I never go if winds are more than 5 to 10....looks like the winds won't slow down until july.....thanks for all the info guys, keep it coming,

tight ones....
