better to own a truck an pay to maintain, then paying a note on a truck.

And my thinking is $2,000 is a lot better then running out and dropping $40,000 on a brand new one. The only perk to having a brand new truck is you don't have to go through the hassle of it breaking down and leaving you on the side of the road. |

Y'all thinking like me. Did not want to get rooed into an $800/1k a month truck note. 07 mod isn't that old and I like my truck. Other than spending a weekend qorking on my own stuff there is really no downside to doing the engine and trans. Especially with a 3 year 100k warranty. Not gonna get much better warranty if I went 40k for a new one.
