Good hunt with my dad, shot 8 but should have limited. Dad was a little rusty with today being the first duck he's shot this year. We had a flock of about 30 greenwing come within 15 yards and we only got 1, I don't think either one of us was aiming. Other than that a fun hunt with pops and my dog which also was flawless so a good day all in all.

That dog looks like a good one. Good job ain't nothing a big flock coming in and that one time it feels like you forgot how to shoot. I used to blame the gun.

he's young (20 months) and this is his first year but he's done real good, better than what I would have ever thought thats for sure. He loves to hunt. When I pull down the gravel road off of 82 he starts barking lol. He's picked up over 50 birds this year which is good considering we started off real slow and only averaging 5 birds a hunt.

i have been seeing a lot of people their in the morning but also quite a few when i've been leaving later too so I don't know may be some late limits it has to be holding birds though because I am starting to see birds in the ponds on side of the roads on hwy 27 now so its got to be gettin better
