Got all my parts in today, installed them and fired it up for the first time! I can't wait, I might be able to take it out on the water for the first time by tomorrow afternoon.

Finally got all the parts changes, news hoses, and everything tested. Took the boat for an hour joy ride today, I really like the boat! On a side note, the trailer sucked. It really isn't the trailer for the boat. I might sell this one and find a single axle trailer.

Got a 17 pitch prop on it now and it flies, all I need now is a trolling motor. I'm looking for a 70lb thrust if anyone has one they want to let go.

You should be able to find a 70lb pretty easy for a good price, lots of people upgrade from 70lb to a 36Volt motor.

Mercury says if you tilt the motor all the way over and then lower the motor support the weight is on the boat side and does not need and transom saver.

Thanks! I just got the other one painted and stickers ordered for the hood. I also figured out why the trailer pulls crooked, I think someone mentioned the tracks on the leaf hangers. Looking at it more I noticed it did have tracks and they were about 4" out. I loosened the bolts and got it straight.

Just got a new boat. Apparently Yamaha will not warranty lower unit if traditional transom saver used. Their claim is that all the vibration from road, trailer, bounce, etc is centered on lower unit and will rattle things loose. They Recommend Just one Yammy stick.

I had same problem on my old boat. Moved trailer post up front forward. Problem solved. If that's a possibility.

Thanks Murf. I plan on moving the boards here soon plus adding some new bunks up front. Loading this thing is a nightmare, I can load my 24' pontoon boat easier than this thing.
